Planning to set up multiplexes
The Kakatiya Urban Development Authority is planning to set up multiplexes, shopping, residential and commercial complexes, star hotels, convention halls and IT towers in Warangal. These projects will be undertaken using PPP model. KUDA is focusing on acquiring land in four prime localities in the city.
About 10.5 acres in Balasamudram have been acquired and KUDA is trying to raise funds for multiplexes costing Rs 100 crore. About 131 acres of the total 161 acres belonging to the Ajamjahi Mills was also handed over to KUDA. The state government has paid Rs 31.5 crore to the National Textile Corporation.
An apartment complex will be coming up near Ambedkar Bhavan at a cost of Rs 8 crore, apart from the two projects. A five-storey complex with 570 residential flats would be built in the complex. Proposals to build a goods and truck terminal at a cost of Rs 14 crore on 70 acres near the city have been prepared.

KUDA just says things .. but actually doesnt do them :-/
